When the devastating attacks of October 7th and the ensuing war shook our nation, the heroes of the IDF stood as a shield for the Jewish people. Many made the ultimate sacrifice.
Mantzichim was founded with a single sacred purpose: to bring comfort to the bereaved families of fallen IDF soldiers. In searching for a meaningful way to do that, we found our calling in the ancient art of Torah restoration. Led by master sofer Yehuda Lanzkron, our scribes lovingly recover and restore pasul Sifrei Torah — ancient texts invalidated by damage and lying silent — returning them to kosher service.
Once made whole, these sacred Torahs are dedicated in memory of our fallen soldiers with the guidance of the bereaved families. The Torah becomes a living symbol of their loved one's memory — and a source of comfort that endures for generations.
A Living Memorial on Every Page
To scale this holy work and ensure our soldiers are never forgotten, Mantzichim compiled the Chumash of Heroes (Chumash HaGiborim). This masterfully bound, 5-volume Hebrew/English Chumash set weaves the eternity of the Torah with the immortality of our fallen fighters.
